It introduces stricter rules against greenwashing and requires such claims, as well as sustainability labels, to be clear, transparent and substantiated.<br \/>\nIt also introduces new information requirements, for example regarding durability, repairability and software updates.<\/p>\n          <\/div>\r\n\r\n          \r\n          \r\n        <\/div>\r\n        \r\n      <\/div>\r\n\r\n    \r\n  <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n\r\n<div id=\"text-block_cfd422854e0a950957b90d703db36f9c\" class=\"block-text module type-text bc-white\">\r\n  <div class=\"container\">\r\n\r\n    \r\n      <div class=\"row \">\r\n\r\n        \r\n        <div class=\"col-12 col-md-10\">\r\n\r\n          \r\n          <div class=\"text for-box-js\">\r\n            <h2>How has the industry prepared for the Directive?<\/h2>\n          <\/div>\r\n\r\n          \r\n          \r\n        <\/div>\r\n        \r\n      <\/div>\r\n\r\n    \r\n  <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n\r\n<div id=\"text-block_bb3bce71d4ea3ec1e4f9c9485fd20bb8\" class=\"block-text module type-text-text bc-white\">\r\n  <div class=\"container\">\r\n\r\n    \r\n<div class=\"grid\">\r\n  <h3 class=\"left-top d-none d-md-block\">\r\n      <\/h3>\r\n\r\n  <div class=\"left-bottom text\">\r\n    <p>In preparation for the introduction of the Directive, the German Publishers and Booksellers Association (B\u00f6rsenverein) has worked closely with its members to address all relevant areas requiring action.
